3-Year Old Class

Welcome to the 3s! My name is Ms. Carol. I am thrilled to be teaching the 3s. Your child will learn in a safe environment filled with positive reinforcement and a "you can do it" attitude! 3s are filled with joy, energy and excitement. Your child will have lots of choices, time to be silly, fun themes and a predictable schedule in a well planned and prepped classroom. 3s are so smart and are growing so much! The students will be working toward independence and reaching their next level. The classroom is broken into small groups with each child doing his or her "best" work. In the classroom they will reach their fullest potential and feel good about their work. During the school year, you will witness huge growth and development of learning! Students will learn pro-social skills, improve their communication and thrive in our co-teaching atmosphere. They will learn from me, the co-teachers and parent volunteers. My fun and engaging curriculum is theme based. The lessons are developmentally appropriate with lots of hands on activities. Critical concepts will be taught in many different ways multiple times to ensure that each student not only learns it but masters it! Children look forward to their school day. If you have any questions about the 3s program, please send me an e-mail at dembeckcarol1957@gmail.com. I welcome your child and your family to become part of our family at Parkville Tots! 4-Year Old Class

Ready, Set, Go! Welcome to the 4s! My name is Mrs. Ann and teaching the 4s energizes me every day and makes me love what I do. This is an important year! It's my passion to have the opportunity to get each one of them off in the right direction with their first academic journey. My philosophy is "Teach to each child's individual spark!" What I love about teaching the 4s is that there is always an opportunity to teach them something new! They are absolute sponges and soak up everything learning opportunity as long as it's taught in a fun and energized way. Their expressions tell me everything I need to know. It truly gears my teaching. Every day your child will walk into a well prepped classroom with plenty of "hands on" learning activities. This creates a fun and exciting learning environment for our students. It also promotes independent learning. They will be introduced and master developmentally appropriate skills sets, such as reading readiness skills, sight word recognition, and science fun! Plenty of activities help promote and reinforce our fine motor skills. This helps with our early writing. Critical concepts will be taught in many different ways multiple times to ensure that each student not only learns it, but masters it! To ensure a smooth transition into Kindergarten, we will introduce Pre-reading readiness and writing skills. Build their fine motor skills with age appropriate skill sets. Early Math concepts will be covered. They will include counting to 100, number recognition and reciting the number back. Early addition as well as subtraction, patterns, and shapes will be introduced and practiced regularly throughout the year. Science is such a fun way to enhance so many learning opportunities. It is always amazing to watch them grow emotionally, socialy, and academically. They are a gift and it makes me truly happy to make them soar. Truly our main objective is for your child to gain confidence, emotionally, socially, academically, and ignite their love of learning!!!!  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email me at amoseley0927@gmail.com.
