The Parkville Tots Preschool Program follows the requirements of the Baltimore County Daycare Services' which include:

Staff member to child ratios: 
2-year-olds : 2 staff members/12 children

3-year-olds: 2 staff members/18 children

4-year-olds: 2 staff members/18 children

Close communication with parents: 

• Emails

• Letters 

• Monthly Newsletters

• Staff member/parent conference if needed

• Progress Reports

Use of discipline:

• Anticipate and redirect problems

• Encourage appropriate behavior

• Discuss inappropriate behavior individually or as a group

• Help recognize others feelings

• Consistent and clear rules

• Rest time in chair
